Salvatore Ferragamo presents his latest surprise for the 2019 Fall / Winter shoe collection, namely Refracted. Refracted is the most striking collection of shoes because it represents the world, human habitation.

Designed by Paul Andrew, Salvatore Creative Director Ferragamo himself, Refracted is presented in 5 very different shoe styles, but has 1 similarity in the heel. You can also see that the shape of the heel of the Refracted shoe is very innovative, having three choices of height, 1cm, 5.5cm and 8cm.

For this heel, Salvatore Ferragamo uses ultralight plastic material that is durable, coated with galvanized metal, and has a topographic shape with irregular triangular laser engraving. Refracted from Salvatore Ferragamo not only presents shoes that can be used daily, but also interactions with the world around him through refraction of light.


The Refracted design actually followed the Column shoe design created in 1939 by Salvatore Ferragamo himself. Through the Refracted collection, The company wants to reflect on the world around in 2019.


The heel is designed to display the beauty of irregularity and diversity.the refracting light of the heel of this shoe will be different every time you see it and this is not a disability, instead it highlights the unique collection of Salvatore Ferragamo shoes that are different from before.


Refracted collections are presented in 5 different styles, colors, and materials that are also diverse, such as nappa, suede, genuine leather, silk satin, and crystal embroidery. What do you think?
