Bone Loss, One of the Causes of Back Pain

If there is one part of the body that makes you uncomfortable, surely your work or activities will be disrupted.  One of the many health conditions complained of is the problem of back pain and is often felt by many people.
Have you ever experienced stiffness when you wake up, lower back pain, back pain accompanied by tingling?  Even to the point of weakness or numbness in the back, buttocks, groin, legs, or soles of the feet.
If one of the conditions has been felt and has tried to treat in various ways, but the complaint does not disappear, meaning you should immediately see a doctor.  The condition could have been caused by your spine in a degenerative condition.
Degenerative spinal conditions are wear and tear that occurs gradually in the discs (discs), joints and spinal bones (spine).
Well it turns out that degenerative spinal conditions generally ‘attack‘ smokers and rarely exercise.  You who have a lifestyle often do weight lifting, bending is also risky, including the elderly who suffer from degenerative diseases.
Degenerative spinal conditions can gradually suppress the nerves and spinal nerves, causing the conditions mentioned above.  If the complaint continues to occur and greatly interferes with the activity, surgery is the recommended action.
The operation can be performed with Conventional lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF) or Minimal Invasive Transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (MIS TLIF) techniques.
TLIF is a contemporary approach to spinal fusion surgery.  This is an operation performed on the lower back to remove the intervertebral discs and combine two or more vertebrae (vertebrae) together using screw and cage.
TLIF is done by an ‘open’ technique that requires making a larger incision, along the middle of the back.  Through this incision, the doctor then cuts, or pulls back, the spinal muscles and tissue to access the spine and disc space.
Cutting and pulling muscles and tissues are part of the reason that after surgery, patients are faced with a long recovery period of several weeks or months.
TLIF MIS technique is used for the treatment of patients with spinal pain, with degenerative disc disease, Herniated disc, Spondylolisthesis, Spinal stenosis.
In the TLIF minimally invasive technique, the doctor inserts a small tube through the skin until it ‘rests’ on the spine.  Using special surgical instruments, the doctor then performs the entire TLIF procedure through a tube.
Working through a small tube, instead of a larger ‘open’ incision, greatly reduces the amount of muscle and tissue that is cut or pulled.  Blood loss is reduced dramatically.
The goal of MIS is to minimize tissue damage, so that postoperative pain is more minimal, this TLIF MIS technique also makes the time period of hospitalization shorter and the recovery time of patients faster than TLIF.
So in conclusion, the TLIF MIS technique has advantages that could be your consideration, such as a mini occurrence of torn or damaged tissue.  Recovery is faster, so patients can get back to their activities.
Not only that, postoperative pain is lighter and disappear faster than TLIF technique, the scar is smaller so that the surgery is better than the cosmetic side.  You also consume less pain medications after surgery.
If you experience back pain problems and complaints do not abate, it helps you immediately come to the hospital for a check-up.
