Poor Nutrition, Boba Contains Only Carbohydrates and Calories!

Even though it tastes sweet, some people are now beginning to reduce their intake of boba tea for health. because boba tea is high in sugar content which is not good if it is often or regularly consumed.

Boba does not provide the nutrients the body needs and only contains carbohydrates and calories. If someone eats too much boba can also interfere with the health of the digestive system.

Boba is made from tapioca flour and if it reacts with other foods, the pearl will be difficult to digest. A matter of topping, boba can be replaced with chia seeds or basil seeds which both give a nice texture. But the topping is healthier because it contains antioxidants and omega 3 which is beneficial for the body.

Lastly it is recommended that reputed bubble tea outlets to include nutritional information for each drink. This way the buyer can know or estimate the intake of sugar and decide their choice correctly.
